Power On Your Printer
- Plug the power cord to the back of your printer and the other end into a wall socket.
- Turn on your Canon PIXMA MegaTank G6020 printer.
- Follow the on-screen prompts on your printer and set the language.
Loading The Paper
- Pull the paper cassette out of the Canon printer.
- Now, slide the paper width guide as far as possible.
- Take a stack of paper and fan and align the sheets neatly.
- Insert the stack into the cassette. Adjust the paper width guide such that it touches the edges of the stack.
- Push the paper cassette back into the Canon printer.
- Pull out the paper output tray.
Software Setup
- Load the software installation CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive in order to start the installation.
- If you have lost the installation CD or your computer does not support a CD-ROM drive, just open the default web browser on your computer and visit the printer’s official website.
- Provide your printer model name in the search bar at the top of the page.
- Select your device name from the list.
- Now, pick your printer’s model number from the list.
- In the next window, click the Drivers & Downloads top menu from the list.
- Below Drivers & Downloads, you need to choose your operating system along with its version from the drop-down lists and choose your language.
- Click on the Select button located straight to the driver file of your choice.
- Click the Download button below the selected driver file.
- The Canon printer driver will start to download.
