Start by recording the complete model number and the device you want to print from. Check whether the printer uses USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and confirm the printer is powered on. For model-specific drivers, firmware and manuals, use the manufacturer's official support resources.
If the printer is offline, verify the selected printer, connection and print queue. On Wi-Fi, confirm the printer and computer or phone are using the intended network. On office networks, permissions, queues and administrator policies may affect printing.
Do not select a driver solely because a product name looks similar. Match the exact model and operating system. If a driver installation fails, remove stale entries only when appropriate and restart before trying again.
Check paper loading, paper type, ink or toner and maintenance tools. If the printer can print a built-in diagnostic page correctly but an application cannot, investigate the application or operating-system settings.
